Welcome to WoodWinters Online Shop for wines & whiskies.


Drinking wine is about pleasure and should be fun whether you’re buying party wine sub £5 or you’re a canny claret collector. Our shop is … small; compact and bijou. This helps us to focus on our main objective to only list the best. There is simply no room for shelf fillers. Our award winning wine list is a roll call of many of the best producers from around the world.

We have never and will never (strong words we know) sell wines on price promotion. We don’t sell baked beans either.


We do all we can to make our service friendly and personal. We treat our customers like wine-loving friends; pointing them in the right direction and getting to know what they like. And when we know what you like, we can deliver more of it!
 

Website Blues

About 5 years ago, we decided to enter the wine trade and set up WoodWinters wines and whiskies by having a website and hosting tastings locally. Before the website was quite ready, we found a shop location in Bridge of Allan and things took off!

Now we have 2 shops, a very successful wholesale business and we still have a website that's not quite ready :-(

We have entered the world of Twitter and Facebookand post a blog too.

The website is definately something we're working on too!

The Italian Grand Tour
Starting Thursday 6th October, Shane will be taking you on a Grand Tour through the regions of Italy. Covering the famous and the less well known you will be tasting your way through a most diverse range of grape varieties and styles and learning a bit of geography too. Find out if it is an over-statement to say that Italy produces some of the most distinctive and interesting wines in the world.

Like this beauty just arrived in Bridge of Allan store 1964 Bowmore (olorosso cask) which is possibly the most expensve bottle I've ever laid eyes on - at £2400 I was too scared to touch it. Even comes with it's own key to keep it in safe hands!
